Springtime awakes
Feel the magic of the changing colours of nature as it awakens and spend a few magnificent days with us! Through the blossoming plum trees of Barbiano or on a trip to the sea of apple blossom near Meran – springtime, with its mild temperatures and the chirruping of the birds, is simply fantastic.
Mountain summer in Barbiano
Summer offers all kinds of free-time opportunities and a rich cultural life. During your stay with us, we will be delighted to provide you with tips and suggestions. So you can, from May till October when the weather is good, go on guided Alpine pasture walks with Heino, and discover the area with rucksack and hiking boots. In summer we organise a barbecue evening once a week and, in autumn, sociable chestnut Törggelen gatherings.
Autumn is time for „Törggelen“
The Eisacktal is well known for its typical „törggelen“
(typical South Tirolean food with sweet chestnuts and wine).
The Gasthof zur Traube affords Törggele evenings with music. Enjoy the special flair of the Törggele time in Barbiano, when it's harvest time and the leaves and trees turn slowly in a sea of gold and red shades.
